I first saw the girl combing her father's hair and was about to cross the street in search of a more frontal view when I noticed the reflections in the mirror. As I was looking for the best position, I noticed the reflection of the mother and the boy appearing in the smaller mirror.

In November 2024, I traveled to Nara, Japan, where I focused my camera on a temple, drawn by the interplay of light and shadow. Suddenly, a deer, well-known in the area, stepped into view just as a cyclist passed by. I quickly switched to burst mode to capture the scene as it unfolded.

On our way to Tokyo Tower in November 2024, we walked through the backstreets of Shimbashi. Steam came out of a ramen shop, which grabbed my attention. As I pointed my camera, people stepped outside, resulting in this mysterious scene.

A spoof of a movement from the late 1800's that was manufactured to control the independence of women.  I began the series  in Scotland this past summer and continued here in our rural area of W.Va . It began with the premise that women would have distorted facial features from riding bikes.

This is the last remaining Malar, a traditional boat of Bengal with a design that dates back over 3,000 years. Due to rapid urbanization, this heritage is disappearing. Preserving large wooden hull in Bangladesh is incredibly challenging.  Sadly, this is kind of large hull nearly extinct today.
