Photographed at Shompole, Kenya. As the elephant walked past the water, its reflection created a second image, almost as though it were walking between two worlds.

About Artist
Sylvia Medina
My name is Sylvia Medina, and I began my wildlife photography journey only in the last 3 to 4 years. I am a retired environmental engineer and also a children's book author. I write stories for the Green Kids Club about environmental issues related to animals losing their habitat or species. In my books, I always include a science section with photos of animals affiliated with the story. This made me realize I should take some of these photos myself instead of buying them. So now I am always armed with my Canon, looking for amazing animals to photograph.
