About Artist

Heribert Schacherl

Studied applied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in St.Pölten (Austria) and been active in all facets of photography for around 25 years, with a particular focus on panoramic photography. This expertise has also led me work on virtual reality projects for approximately 15 years. For about two years, I've been running the #bubbles or #365littlebubblesofmelk project, which explores and visualizes the small worlds we inhabit. The aim is to encourage viewers to reflect on their own “bubble” and consider how they can expand it to enhance their perception of others. A central theme in my work is the way we perceive the world and its constant change. This is why I deliberately play with light and shadow in various projects.
