Color Blocks

My theme is to visualise overlooked art that exists in everyday life. ‘Color Blocks’ is a minimalist work that captures the overlapping walls of houses near my home, reinterpreting them through their pure and simple geometric structures, gentle and beautiful colours, and the tranquillity of the sky

About Artist

Masaki Yazaki

I am a minimalist photographer living in Japan. I am fascinated by the beautiful geometries that quietly exist in everyday life and the harmony of colours created by chance, and I place great importance on capturing them from a simple and quiet perspective. By cutting away the unnecessary and bringing only the essential to light, I aim to create works that leave the viewer with a sense of imaginative blankness and tranquillity. The subjects of her work are diverse, including architecture, street corners, shadows and fragments of colour, but they all have a “beauty that goes unnoticed”.
