I was born in the Azores Islands, Portugal. At an early age I become interested in photography and as a teenager, I learned how to develop black and white film and started to print my own photos. Growing up I had a love for airplanes and decided to pursue a career as a professional pilot. Because of the demands of a family and life as an airline pilot, my involvement with photography slowed quite a bit with only rare and short periods dedicated to any kind of photography. My love for it never died and now retired, I finally have the time to return to the hobby that I always enjoyed. During the last three years I have been actively involved in the photographic community, photo shooting and trying to further develop my photographic skills.
