Francesco Gioia (b. 1991 in Florence) draws inspiration from a diverse range of genres, styles, and techniques, spanning from avant-garde experiments to surrealistic expressions, as well as from film and cut-outs to collage and Bauhaus studies. Influenced by various art movements, including Abstract Expressionism and Surrealism, Gioia incorporates elements from these movements into his visual language. Winner of numerous international awards and published in several magazines and newspapers such as The Guardian, his work has been exhibited in the UK, USA, Africa and Europe. He has published one monograph with Parallel Editions: 57.
