Kate Bilton is a self-taught artist whose creative practice has evolved over time .After stepping away from painting for many years , she rediscovered her artistic voice through photography following her retirement. What began as an exploration of a new medium soon developed into a deeper engagement with photography as an expressive art form. Drawn toward artistic and interpretive imagery, Kate approaches photography with a painter's sensiblity-placing emphasis on mood, composition and visual balance rather the documentaion alone. Her work reflects an interest in translating personal perception into images that invite reflection and emotional reponse. After 8 years Kate explores an artist expression with a renewed freedom, allowing each images to reflect an ongoing process of dicovery,experimention and personal growth.
