Lake Stories was made in Lithuania at the end of summer. Growing up, summers there always revolved around the lake. In this series I wanted to treat it as a place of being rather than doing, stepping in fully clothed and letting the water bring out colours and shapes you wouldn’t otherwise see.

About Artist
Ieva Lukyte
Ieva Lukyte is a Lithuanian photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in New York. She trained in fine arts in Lithuania before studying at Parsons School of Design, and has worked in fashion internationally. Her practice moves between photography, painting and film, with a focus on fashion portraiture and editorial work. Her personal projects often return to familiar places and people, exploring memory, stillness and the quiet moments in between.
