About Artist

Pedro Perim

Amateur photographer, engineer, Brazilian, currently living in Rio de Janeiro, but for professional reasons I have lived in several places, such as the Amazon region and Mozambique. For me, photography is a powerful way of storytelling, and I dedicate myself to capturing moments that reflect everyday life, culture, fragments of people's lives and the nature around me through street, travel, documentary, wildlife and landscape photography. I have a passion for black and white photography, as I believe it offers greater creative freedom through working with light, shadows and textures. However, color photography has gradually gained space in my work as I experiment work with tones, making the color a character in the photo.
