About Artist

Thomas De Sterck

Thomas De Sterck is a Belgian photographer who captures the world around him without leaving too much of a mark on it—or at least, that is his aim. He prefers to turn his lens toward wildlife and the natural world, all while keeping in sight the relationships involving and between people. Whether trekking through the Zambian bush on foot, sleeping among pilgrims in India, or tracking a group of roe deer just around the corner, his stories explore how we live alongside, against, and amidst one another on this blue planet, and what unites us as inhabitants of Earth.
