About Artist

Marina Koval

Marina Koval was born in 1980 and grew up in Tomsk, a small city in Siberia, Russia. From an early age, she was drawn to drawing and observing nature, which shaped her artistic vision. Photography has always been part of her life, and she began pursuing it more actively after having children. Now based in California, USA, her experiences of motherhood and traveling with young children have deeply influenced her visual language. An interest in psychology informs her attentive approach to people, their emotions, and the subtle connections between the inner and outer world. Marina’s current practice focuses on Art Photography.
