About Artist

Marina Koval

Marina Koval grew up in Siberia, Russia. From an early age, she was drawn to drawing and observing nature, which shaped her artistic perception. Photography has always been an important part of her life, but she began working with it more actively after the birth of her children. Now based in California, USA, her experience of motherhood and traveling with her three young children has shaped her visual language. An interest in psychology informs her attentive approach to people, their emotional states, their expression in everyday life, and the subtle connections between the inner and outer worlds. Marina is currently focused on her practice in Art Photography.
