With a background in design and education in multimedia arts, Aun grew up with a fondness for play and the arts. His practice combines portraits of strong souls, street scenes and melancholic landscapes answered in a conversation that he desires long, dense, and often with humour. He favours long-term projects, often focused on cities as living organisms and uses photography as a means of preservation, creation and representation. Aun has conducted several photography workshops, exhibited internationally, has been featured on CNN, BBC, and won various awards, nominated for Prix Pictet 2019, Winner of Quai Branly Museum Grant 2018 - Paris, France, Winner of HIPA black & white category 2019 - Dubai, UAE, Myanmar Deita Photo Competition - Yangon, Myanmar.
