Split Horizons

Day and night collide in a reconstructed Hong Kong skyline. Walkways weave between towers like an urban roller coaster, shaping the energy of the city. The torn and recombined fragments expose a landscape built from overlapping times and shifting memories.

About Artist

Chi Leung Liu

Chi Leung Liu (LeE-papa) is a Hong Kong–born artist, illustrator, designer, and photographer currently based in Horsham, United Kingdom. His work explores the relationship between architecture, memory, and urban space, often using perspective, geometry, and rhythm to reveal how people interact with the built environment. He is the founder of “Archimprint,” an ongoing visual project that documents cities through a blend of illustration, photography, and spatial storytelling. His practice focuses on uncovering forgotten details, transitional spaces, and the emotional resonance of places shaped by history and time. Lee-papa’s photographic works have been recognized in several international competitions, including multiple awards in the Cosmos Awards Mobile Photography category. In 2025, his architectural work was selected for the London Art Biennale. His images often combine artistic expression with documentary sensitivity, creating visual narratives that connect personal experience with the broader urban landscape. This biography reflects his multidisciplinary approach and continuing exploration of city, structure, and identity.
