Carlos Gomez Llavero is a multidisciplinary photographer born in A Coruña, Spain, in 1972. At age 9, he picked up his first camera, sparking a lifelong passion for capturing fleeting moments and turning them into timeless images.
In 2012, amid Spain’s recession, Carlos moved to Bristol, UK, seeking better opportunities. The city became a creative bridge, especially in photography, enriching his artistic journey.
His work spans both digital and analog formats, with a strong focus on black and white photography in 35mm and 120mm. Carlos explores diverse styles—documentary, portraiture, editorial, conceptual, storytelling, and fine art—crafting visual narratives that evoke emotion and connection.
Through his lens, he captures life’s beauty and complexity, creating images that reflect identity, wisdom, and the deeper layers of human experience. His photography invites viewers to see the world differently, embracing its most intimate and raw moments. Each image stands as a testament to his passion and his desire to leave a lasting artistic legacy.
