Elisa Miller

“Elisa Miller is an award-winning French photographer based in London whose work merges vintage aesthetics with vibrant colour and cinematic sensibility. Through carefully constructed sets and nuanced light manipulation, she crafts visual narratives that delve into the complexities of the female psyche. Her images explore identity, self-perception and the portrayal of women in contemporary visual culture. By drawing attention to the tension between appearance and reality, Miller reveals the hidden layers beneath societal expectations, offering a rich, emotionally resonant commentary on how women are seen – and how they see themselves.” – Aesthetica Art Prize, 2025 She has received numerous prestigious awards, including Photographer of the Year in Conceptual at the ReFocus Awards World annual (2024), Photographer of the Year at the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards (2023), Fine Art Photographer of the Year at PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris (2022), and People Photographer of the Year at the International Photography Awards (2021).
