I knew since early on that the visual arts were going to be a lifelong journey. Studying art and design in college gave me a foundational knowledge, honed my instincts and energized my creativity. Living in the western U.S. gave me ready access to the unique and wondrous landforms of the southwest and west. Immediately after making this area my home 40 years ago, I started photographing and have continued to this day.
