Claudia Behrensen, is an Argetine visual artist, who left her profession as a lawer to fully pursue her passion for art. Her work explores the relationship between humanity and nature, highlighting the ancestral bond that connect us to the Earth and the respect it deserves as a living being. She also adresses universal emotions and internal conflicts, that shape our behavoir, inviting viewers to reflect on the fears and prejudices that obscure our authentic essence. Behrensen's artistic journey spans painting,sculpture,photography and performance. In 2007 she began working in photography and participated in numerous workshops and art project clinics. She participated in an art Residence, Arte en el Origen, in Cantabria (Spain) headed by the artist Andrea Juan.
Her work has received First Prize and Honorbale Mention at the ND Photography Awards Fine Art Category( 2023), Honorable Mention at the Annual Photography Awards, Climate and Weather Cathegory (2025). She was selected for the 5th Edtion of the Chelsea International Photography Competition, and in the 37th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (NY), as well as the longlist of the BBA One Shot Award and on the online gallery of the Lens Culture Photography Awards.
