About Artist

Ana Bárbara Caballero

From a young age, I have been driven by an innate intuition and boundless energy, drawn irresistibly to all forms of art. Museums, theater, and books have always been more than just interests—they've been sources of excitement and inspiration, igniting a whirlwind of ideas and emotions within me. This early fascination taught me to deeply connect with and interpret the essence of any artwork I encountered, fostering a profound love for artistic expression. My formal journey began at American University in Washington, D.C., where I pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. This academic background paved the way to New York City, where I took my first steps into the world of photography through beginner classes at the International Center of Photography while working at Siegel + Gale, a leading branding firm. The vibrant city of Miami offered a new chapter in my artistic development. At the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, I honed my skills in photography, graduating with the highest honors. My path then led me to collaborate with acclaimed photographers and undertake diverse courses that expanded my creative horizons. Each step of my journey has enriched my artistic vision, blending rigorous technical training with a deep-seated passion. These experiences inspired me to engage in impactful social projects, including the Fredric Roberts Photography workshops at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey, Mexico SOLO EXHIBITIONS Through the Looking Glass, HearEgoGallery, Monterrey, Mexico 2022 Operación Reflexiva, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey, Mexico 2018 Espectros Paralelos, Casa de la Cultura, San Pedro Garza García NL 2013 GROUP EXHIBITIONS Untitled Summer Suite, FF Gallery, Monterrey Mexico 2024 Golden Spike, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey Mexico 2023 Love is in the Air, Ya Puedo Escucharte, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey Mexico 2022 Standing Wave, Collective Exhibition, Caleta Gallery, Mexico City 2022 Seduccion Tropical Vol 2, PopUp Prism Project, Mexico City 2022 Hindsight, Collective Exhibition, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey, Mexico 2021 Do not Panic, Do not Panic , Collective Exhibition, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey, NL Mexico 2020 Love is in the Air 2, Ya Puedo Escucharte, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey, Mexico 2019 Efecto Rachomon, Collective Exhibition, Pop-Up HearEgo Zona Maco, México D.F. 2019 Operación Reflexiva, Collective Exhibition HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey, Mexico 2018 Efecto Rachomon, Collective Exhibition, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey, Mexico 2018 Love is in the Air, Ya Puedo Escucharte, Collective Exhibition, HeartEgo Gallery, Monterrey Mexico 2017
