Flavia Sampaio, a major in communications, has worked for the main Brazilian newspapers, Folha de S. Paulo, Estado de S. Paulo and Reuters agency. She has been developing photography projects for six years, with an emphasis on investigating memory and the passage of time and its transfigurations. In her projects, she uses captured images and vernacular photographs. She has participated in various calls for proposals and his work has been featured in national and international exhibitions, including the group show at the Iberê Camargo Foundation in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She was a finalist for the best photobook dummy award at the Imaginária Festival in 2022. She develops poems motivated by her photographic projects. She is guided by researcher and curator Daniel Salum.
