About Artist

Taylor Parham

Taylor Parham is a South Australian artist and photographer. He often spends his nights exploring the city and suburbs of Adelaide, photographing mundane environments from a perspective that appears both familiar and unfamiliar. Of late his attention has shifted towards capturing the hidden worlds of science and research, engineering and industry, spaces that are unseen and unfamiliar to the majority. His intent in photographing these environments is to reveal the accidental aesthetics and beauty that exists in spaces built where form and function are a priority, exploring the idea of art intersecting with science and vice versa. From interiors to exteriors his imagery highlights the unexpected beauty found in unexpected places.
