About Artist
Ksenia Mirnaya
Ksenia Mirnaya is a fine art photographer born in Belarus, Minsk and now based in Sarasota, Florida. Her artistic path began with studies in visual arts and psychology. Ksenia taught both disciplines, and over time this experience shaped her photographic language—metaphoric, thoughtful, and attentive to emotional nuance. Before turning fully to photography, Ksenia worked successfully in the modeling industry, taking part in runway shows, advertising campaigns, and video projects. But her true passion was always on the other side of the camera. Her connection to photography emerged during motherhood. With four children, the camera became a way to see subtle emotions, preserve the poetry of everyday life, and turn presence into story. This gradually grew into her personal artistic space. Ksenia received her professional foundation from the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP). A defining moment in her development came with her studies at @marusina_masterskaya under her guiding mentor Marusya, where she found her authorial voice and learned to work with metaphor and emotional depth. Later she continued her education at Anna Krauklis’ File Art School, expanding her visual thinking within an international fine art community. Her work has been exhibited internationally: — Galerie Joseph le Palais, Paris (2024) — Fondazione Luciana Matalon, Milan (2024) — One Art Space, New York (2024) — Galerie Joseph Chapon, Paris (2025) Today, she creates images that open a space where the visible and the invisible meet.
