Originally from Japan, I moved to the UK to study Visual Communication. My early interest in the human form and movement developed into a practice centred on portraiture and editorial photography. Collaborations with dancers and performing arts organisations played an important role in establishing my career as both a photographer and graphic designer. My work continues to focus on people, presence and visual storytelling, alongside independently developed creative projects. I am based in Oxford, UK.
