From an illusion to death

It's World War II. A man at the front, a woman who knows she's beautiful and must protect her family, a hierarch who knows how to humiliate and mistreat her. But then time passes and things change. Her children die in a bombing raid, and she has no news of her husband. Her only choice is oblivion.
