Lone Barn

An expansive snowy landscape is suddenly punctuated by a lone barn, like an exclamation point interrupting its tranquility.

About Artist

Brian Clopp

BRIAN CLOPP is a Field Journalist for the American Wild Horse Campaign, and leads photo workshops with his tour guide business LensExplorers.com. He recently launched FosterPhoto.org in partnership with Nature's Best Magazine to give foster youth access to photography training and workshops, as extracurricular activities are proven to help give underprivileged youth a chance to thrive. He is a wildlife photo tour guide through LensExplorers.com, teaching photographers of all skill levels from hobbyist to professional, and donates a portion of proceeds to conservation efforts. He leads workshops locally in Utah where the wild horses roam, the Tetons where moose abound, across the USA for breathtaking landscapes, and globally for cultural immersions. After co-producing Netflix's Golden Globe-nominated film "First They Killed My Father" directed by Angelina Jolie, Clopp shifted from the city lifestyle of Los Angeles to Utah where he explored a newfound passion for wilderness photography. Clopp also won a prestigious Nature's Best award for his Utah kit fox, and won the Travel Photographer of the Year honor for his photo series on wild stallions. His portraits include noted celebrities such as President Jimmy Carter, Ted Turner, James Earl Jones, John C. Reilly, and Jesse Jackson. His Eagle Scout project as a teenager established an annual drive that continues to this day as the main source of winter clothing for Trenton's homeless, and has since been replicated in towns across the country.
