Perpetual Crucifixion draws on Bacon’s “Three Studies” and Buddhist Four Noble Truths. Distorted forms evoke cycles of suffering born from desire and illusion, confronting violence that persists across time. These images question if release from pain is ever possible.

Career Overview • 2007 Returned to Japan and established a base in Tokyo. • 1999 Began working as a fashion photographer based in London UK. • 1997 Worked as an assistant to Nick Knight (Fashion Photographer). • 1996 Moved to the London UK. • 1994 Worked as an assistant to Kei Ogata (Fashion Photographer). • 1991 Joined Sasaki Studio, (a commercial photography company). Currently active across a wide range of fields, including advertising and magazines, specializing in beauty, fashion, and portrait photography.
