They create designs in the earth; the beauty of which, I assume, they are quite oblivious; their unwitting artistry can only be appreciated from above

About Artist

C E Morse

C E Morse was born in Camden, Maine. He graduated from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) with a BFA in Photography after studying with Paul Krot and Aaron Siskind. Further studies include courses at the Maine Photographic Workshops (now Maine Media Workshops) and MECA (the Maine College of Art). C E's studio is located in Cumberland, Maine, where he has lived for the past 30 years. His work has garnered awards in such competitions as: Photo Review, Marin Society of Artists, the International Photography Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards, Photographer’s Forum, Moscow International Foto Awards, Prix de la Photographie Paris, Black & White Spider Awards, Texas Photographic Society, Head On Photo; Sydney, AU, and the International Contemporary Art Awards. His work is included in private and corporate collections. He has been selected for solo and group exhibitions; both nationally and internationally, as well as various publications.
