About Artist
Andrea Guedella
Andrea Guedella was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied Graphic design, Social Communication and Advertising, and worked in several agencias as a Creative Director before becoming a visual artist. In 2014 she began to exhibit her photographic works in social media, art fairs and group shows, until reaching museums and solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Since 2018 she runs Espacio Disparos, her studio and gallery, with she defines as a space to "create, produce and exhibit ideas". In there she builds her own body of work, besides producing editorial and advertising layouts, and portraits under commission. Several times she acted as a consultant and curator of different exhibitions and works of colleagues. Her series of works always carry a distinctive stamp where transformation and reversion are always present, as well as impact, concept, color and the use of her own body. Hence her pseudonym: "Disparos", means "Shots".
