Year of the Cicada

Year of the Cicada follows my return to Aotearoa after a decade in New York. Guided by the familiar hum of cicadas, the photographs move through domestic rituals, changing landscapes and generations, considering how distance reshapes memory, makes home foreign and complicates belonging.
