A fleeting moment of movement within a world of stillness. In a perfectly calm sea, a tiny wave less than twenty centimeters high emerges near the shore. Its graceful curve and steep slope reveal a miniature expression of the ocean’s power, echoing the grandeur of much larger waves.

Honorable Mentions

In shallow waters at the beach, ripples move across the surface. As they move, they cast shifting patterns of light and shade onto the sandy bottom just a few centimeters below. Sand, pebbles, and broken shells become a canvas on which water and light paint an ever-changing work of art.
