Bio

Jake Forsythe (b. 1995) is a Director and Photographer based in Squamish, British Columbia (on the unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh nation). ​Jake was born and raised as a Canadian expatriate in the Middle East, where a deep-rooted love for travel and a passion for exploration took hold early on. Jake aims to capture the essence of adventure in his work and focuses on creating experimental imagery centred around movement. His work explores feelings of wonder, excitement, joy, nostalgia, and awe - evoking a visceral sense of energy. Jake's active lifestyle and diverse skillset allows him to shoot alongside athletes and talent in their native environments - whether it's skydiving, biking, trail running, or skiing.
