Bio

John Goossens (b. 1977, Netherlands) is a Netherlands-based photographer working primarily in landscape and nature photography. His practice centers on close observation of natural environments and the subtle presence of human-made structures within them. Working mostly in the Netherlands, he often returns to the same subjects to explore repetition and gradual transformation. He is largely self-taught and complements his independent practice with selected workshops. His work has received recognition in regional photography competitions and has been published in Dutch photography magazines.
