Bio
I picked up my first camera in high school and enjoyed capturing the people and landscapes around me so much that a camera has never been far from my hands since. This newfound passion led me to study at the University of NSW where I graduated with a Visual Arts Degree majoring in photography, honing my skills in film and transparency. These pre-digital days of working untethered with only your eye and technical know-how as a guide definitely helped shape my style, knowledge and the attention to detail that I still carry with me today. After transitioning into the digital world of photography, it was the overall lifestyle genre - food, portraits, interiors and travel - that called my name. I have travelled the world extensively shooting in locations such as the Maldives, Europe, Asia and the Americas for Vogue, Conde Nast Traveller and other notable publications. I have photographed Buddhist monks in Bhutan, captured the late great Anthony Bourdain for Vogue Entertaining & Travel Magazine, shot jaw-dropping interiors of luxury abodes, and I have put my stamp on a number of Australian cookbooks. When I am not shooting, you can find me walking, boxing, drinking coffee (or wine - depending on the time of day) eating delicious food at Sydney’s latest cafes and restaurants, soaking up time with friends and family, and of course, travelling.
