Bio

Born in Italy and educated as an engineer, Roberto Pazzi is a documentary and cultural photographer whose work explores people, communities, and the relationship between identity, culture, and place. His immersive approach to photography has received recognition in several prestigious international competitions, earning the attention of both critics and peers alike. His work has been published by renowned publications around the world. At the heart of his practice lies HUMANKIND, an ongoing long-term photographic project developed over more than a decade, exploring evolving forms of human identity and documenting cultures at risk of fading away. An integral part of the project, the premium limited-edition photographic book HUMANKIND extends its visual narrative beyond the exhibition space, offering a tangible expression of this continually expanding body of work. Based in Spain, Roberto collaborates with Nomad Photo Expeditions, where he leads immersive photographic journeys to some of the world’s most remote and culturally vibrant regions.
