Sanjay Danait, widely known as D. Sanjay, is a graphic designer by profession and a wildlife photographer by choice. Sanjay has won over 1,800 prestigious national and international awards in Nature and Wildlife photography. His photos have been appreciated and published by National Geographic (NatGeo), BBC Wild, India Photography Awards (inPA), INW Awards, Photocrowd, Shoot The Frame (STF), 35Awards and Brooklyn Award - Art Avenue International Society, London. Sanjay is a recipient of EFIAP, ECPE, EPCA, EFIP, HON.CPE, ES.CPE and A.NPS Distinctions. Sanjay's name was listed in 'Who's Who in Photography 2020' by Photographic Society of America (PSA). India's leading publications 'The Times of India', 'Hindustan Times', 'Business India', 'Corporate Citizen', 'Rotary News' and 'Smart Photography' have published articles extolling his excellence in wildlife photography. Sanjay won the coveted 'Sony-BBC Earth Award 2022' in wildlife category. He was also declared as the Mega Prize Winner of the contest. In 2026, Sanjay has been honoured in 'Top 100 Wildlife Series', and 'Top 100 Wildlife Photographers Nomination' by '35Awards', Russia.
