My name is Saurabh Sirohiya, I am a qualified graphic designer and photographer by profession, currently pursuing freelance work and photojournalism. I started taking an interest in photography as a hobby back in 2015. Since then, I have travelled almost all over India taking pictures of different events, people, travel, streets, and cultures and writing a story about them to describe them. Documentary photography is my strong suit. This is why I like to think of myself as an artist and storyteller when describing my role as a photographer. I am self-taught in photography, with a particular focus on street and travel photography, skills which I have mastered despite suffering from hearing impairment. I rely on lip reading through video calls to understand face-to-face conversations and messaging. I won over 550 International and national photography awards, and my photographs were published in multiple international and national newspapers and magazines.
