Bio

Anglo-Finn, writer and travel photographer, based in Helsinki, Finland. Winner of, and commended in, many photography awards including Travel Photographer of the Year and British Guild of Travel Writers. Winner of Traverse Creator Best Storytelling award 2025. I'm especially interested in telling stories words and images that involve and embrace local communities, but I also enjoy contemplative landscape photography, in Finland where I live and elsewhere. Apart from the Nordic and Baltic regions, India has been my other speciality - festivals, rituals, scenes of daily life.
