He was born in Russia, Nizhny Novgorod region. He began taking photographs as a child and at the age of 15 he began participating in the work of the city photo club. And from the first days of training I was interested not only in the technical side of photography, but in something more. I myself, without realizing it, tried to create not just “photos for memory”, but works that would remain timeless. Photography has given and continues to give me the opportunity to be creative, to create something new that I cannot achieve in other ways. This provides an opportunity to develop worldviews, intentions and reflections. I do not make photography a permanent and obligatory job and take photographs when quantity turns into quality or a ready-made image of work is formed or there is a great desire for creativity. Of course, external confirmation of work success or recognition from colleagues inspires and creates a desire to continue working, but at the moment this is secondary. At the age of 18, I took part in an international photography exhibition in France for the first time. In 1990, he took part in the founding congress of the Union of Russian Photographers. In 1995, the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP) awarded him the title of FIAP Artist (FIAP Artist). In 2010, the International Federation of Photography awarded me, the first author from Russia, the title of FIAP Master for creating my own style. Awards and nominations: Member of the jury of international exhibitions under the patronage of FIAP in Russia and Ukraine. Awarded more than 200 awards, more than 40 gold medals, first prizes and Grand Prix, including at the following exhibitions: IV National Photo Award “Photographer of the Year” (Russia), Trirenberg Supertrack (Austria), China 15th International Exhibition of Photographic Art 2013 (China) , Hamdan International Photography Award 2014 (UAE), Sony World Photography Awards 2015 (UK), Best of Photography competition supported by SIGMA 2015 (USA), Siena International Photo Awards 2015 (Italy).
