Domesticated Kingdom
Laboratory rabbits are subjected to various tests from birth, ranging from cosmetics to medicines and vaccines. After a year of involuntary service to humanity, they are killed. However, Lars, thanks to the Polish activist organization Labrescue, was saved from death and found a new home.

Xawery Deskur
A graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Faculty of Graphic Arts (2015). Winner of the Hestia Artistic Journey – a month-long scholarship in New York and a solo exhibition at the Propaganda Gallery (Warsaw, 2014). He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He completed a screenwriting course (2018/19) and a documentary film course (2019/20) at the Wajda School in Warsaw, and in 2018 he received a Screenwriting Scholarship from the Polish Film Institute. At the beginning of 2021, he received the “Young Poland” scholarship from the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport, and in 2022, the Creative Scholarship of the City of Krakow. Winner of the Chris Schwarz Award of the Galicia Jewish Museum in 2022. He has participated in art and film festivals such as Sundance TV Shorts in London, Greenpoint Film Festival in New York, Berlin Short Film Festival, Video Art and Experimental Shorts Film Festival in New York, Artloop in Sopot, WRO Biennale in Wrocław, Narracje in Gdańsk, Etiuda & Anima, Krakow Art Salon, and ArtBoom in Krakow. In 2023, his SF documentary film “Jesteś tu?” (Are You There?) premiered at the Krakow Film Festival and received the award for best documentary in the Polish-Czech competition at the ZOOM Zbliżenia International Film Festival in Jelenia Góra. He is Lars'caretaker, a laboratory rabbit rescued from premature death in a Warsaw laboratory.
