Photography and nature have always been a part of Neeraj’s life. A 50th birthday trip to Bandipur and Kabini with his wife and two daughters sparked a deep immersion, an expanse of wonder, rejuvenation and creative discovery that turned into a passion for wildlife photography. Neeraj is captivated by the vivid and subtle colours of the forest, interplay of light and shadow, and atmospheric storytelling. His deep appreciation extends to all flora and fauna, from the grandest elephants to the smallest spiders. Neeraj approaches Wildlife photography the same as the Boardrooms with 3Ps – Planning, Patience and Perseverance. Planning for different scenarios keeping the often surprising and uncertain animal behaviour, changing light, often waiting for hours for a single shot enable him to take split-second decisions and create his style of unique compositions.
