I'm Maui, the soul behind the lens at Mauiph. A photographer and visual storyteller. Mauiph was born out of a love affair with the sea and a deep fascination for the stories that unfold where the surf meets the shore, the underwater world and the diverse cultures. Born in Argentina, I spent the last decade living in Australia, sailing across the Pacific, and exploring some of the most remote and raw corners of the Earth. I’ve lived and document life on tiny islands, lived off-grid, and shared moments with communities far from the mainstream. All of the above shaped the way I see the world and the way I choose to tell stories. With a deep love for the sea and a passion for raw, honest imagery, I blend art and adventure in my work Portraits are my passion, and every face tells a story, a unique narrative that I strive to capture in every frame.
