At Hornoya, Norway, I made this lovely picture of this Puffin. I had my 400-800mm with me so I could make this portrait. This island is protected and only under supervision you can visit this. Ofcourse it's not allowed to disturb the birds. It's important we protect this species.

My Beagle Layla like to pose in my studio. I bought this vintage seat on a secondhand shop and bought a new background to realize my idea for this photo. A nice collar in the same red colour as the seat. And so came my idea true in this picture.

My chair

This Sister from 93 years old still living in the beguinage of Bruges, Belgium. While I was there for a photoshoot I saw her passing by and asked her if I could take a photograph from her. Because it is not easy to take a photograph of the sisters, because most of the time they are in their houses.

Depression is something that is very common under young aged people, but no one is talking about it. They just sleeping whole days, doing nothing due to their depression. With this picture I will show people this subject just so they can talk about it.

Let me sleep

For my project for school called " Creative versus creature", I combined scenery-photography with animals. I dressed people up like a character and together with their beloved animal I photograph them in a special setting I made. This woman wanted to be Queen of hearts, and so we did.

Black dogs normally has been seen like dangerous or not sweet. But this dog is so sweet. He is alert, but you can see the twinkle in his brown eyes. Not dangerous at all. Just a sweet dog who is curious what is happening. It is not easy to get a black dog photographed with a dark screen.

If we keep our mouth shut and do not protect our nature, all will goes down. That is what this image is about. We have to protect our nature to keep all life on earth alive. If we don't let people know we have to protect our nature, and all keep our mouth, no one will care about it.

Protect our nature

This dog is a 10 year old Cattledog and owned by a national agility champion. Because this dog retired she wanted to make a photo of him, different than a normal portrait. So she came to me and I made this portrait for her.

Happy dog

This is a special dog for me, my own breed Beagle. He is owned by the daughter of a friend of mine. Before this dog was born his father, which I owned, suddenly passed away. He is almost a copy of him. That's why he is special for me.

This breeder normally wearing old clothes because of her dogs. I put her on a blue evening dress and she had to go back on her work to feed the puppies. The mother dog didn't produce much milk, so she had to give them a bottle. You can see her kindness and feeling her love for those puppies.
